so ive got this pny xlr8 gtx 970 and when i start a game (ive tried several different games and none have worked) the screen goes black and on my second monitor which is connected to the graphics card in the mother board it says that the nvidia drivers have crashed so i need to restart my computer to use the graphics card again and ive tried to 3 different pcie slots and none have worked. ive checked my every component for any signs of failure but everything seems okey. i tried my gpu in my friends computer and it worked fine. i tried 3 diffenrent nvidia drivers and i know 1 should have worked because i used it for some time i think it was 365.19.
my specs is : asrock fatal1ty z97x killer
intel core i7 4790k @ 4.00 ghz
16 gb 1866 mhz Ram
corsair rm750x psu
pny xlr8 gtx 970
so is it my psu cause i think so even doe everything looked good in bios

If it was your psu, the whole pc would shut down and restart.
It sounds like driver issues for sure, but you already checked that......
You haven't over clocked it have you?
Crashing drivers are a sign of an unstable over clock.

Perhaps uninstall drivers like Samat said, and try using the default ones Windows gives you, this should tell you if it's a hardware fault or nvidia drivers.
You can still change your resolution to something plesent even after uninstalling drivers.
