Question GTX 970 Crashing

Hi i have a issue with my MSI GTX 970 4g gaming card
The problem is that every time i try to launch a game or an GPU Stress Test the .exe will start but as soon the main game or test begins the card crashes with a flicker then black screen & you can here the game music in the background for a few seconds then i have to reset the PC everything works ok till the gaming issue ???
