Hello...
I am looking to build a new PC, primarily for gaming and would like to know if it would be able to run games, upcoming next gen such as Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3, and old ones aswell such as battlefeild 4 with high/ultra graphics settings.
PC Spec below;
Motherboard: Fatal1ty B85 Killer,
Intel core i5 4690k and additional Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 120mm,
NVIDIA Gigabyte GTX 970 G1,
HyperX Fury 1866MHz DDR3 2x 4GB,
Seagate 3.5 inch 1TB Hybrid SSHD,
Samsung 24x Retail SATA DVD writer,
Windows 7,
TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter (Network Interface Card),
The case is Aerocool X-Predator X1 Gaming Case with 12cm Interior LED Fan - White,
Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU.

Will all of the parts work together and will it run games fast, on high settings (predicted frame rate if possible?) and is te power supply suitable.

One last thing, I'm thinking of getting an Acer G237HL bi 23-Inch LED Back-Lit (1920x1080) Widescreen Display for the monitor, is it a good choice? The overall cost for all parts including monitor and a keyboard is just over £1000.

Thankyou for any help you can give.

Solution
That motherboard does not support overclocking so the K processor is not really needed unless it cheaper than the 4690, the motherboard does not support 1866 memory although it could work at 1600MHz.
The case specks say 158mm CPU clearance and the hyper 212 is 159mm so it might fit.
The Corsair CX series are not really the quality I would be looking for you can buy better for the same price and as of now a 550 Watt power supply would work just fine for your build. http://www.scan.co.uk/products/650w-xfx-xtr-series-full-modular-80-plus-gold-1x120mm-fan-atx-psu
FPS from the 50-70 depending on the game that you're playing.

I don't like Acer pretty much in terms of monitors , I prefer Asus and Samsung.. But that's up with you, overall its a good PC and a good monitor.

What motherboard would you recommend that would work with the ram, the other components and support overclocking for around £70-£100 that would fit in the case? Many Thanks
Also, would I need a CPU cooler for gaming with the i5 4690k? And what about the graphics card? Will the graphics card and CPU fit inside the case?

MSI Gaming 5
or
Asus z97-A
Solid motherboards with amazing value. (MSI imo is a lil easier for OC because of the OC genie software)
Yes the graphics card and CPU will fit inside the case.
If you want to overclock your cpu, you will need a good cooler to keep the temps down. For cooling down CPU's there are numerous options to choose from, the two most popular are heat sinks and water cooling. Heat sinks are generally cheaper, and are fans placed on the CPU. One that I would recommend is the Hyper 212 EVO. The other option is water cooling which is more effective than a heat sink, but more of a pain to install and definitely more expensive.

I was considering getting a small SSD (HyperX 120GB SSD I think) and putting the OS on it and getting a 1TB hybrid SSHD for games and files etc, so that the PC boots quickly etc, it wouldn't be too much more expensive but would it realy be worth it?

Depending on your budget I would recommend the Kingston Digital 120GB SSD ($54.99 @ Amazon.com) for the cheaper option, or the Samsung 850 EVO 120GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD ($74.76@ Amazon.com)
For your mass storage go for the: WD Blue 1TB Desktop 3.5 Inch SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm Internal Hard Drive ($49.99 @ Amazon.com)
Doing an SSD, mass storage combo is a good way to boost boot up times and faster loading time for games or programs put on the SSD. The mass storage is a good place to keep big files such as movies, projects etc. so yeah its worth it.

After looking at what you guys have said and some research of my own I have changed the specs slightly;

Case- Aerocool X-Predator X1 Gaming Case with 12cm Interior LED Fan - White,
Power supply- XFX 650w XTR Gold Fully Modular Power Supply Unit,
CPU- Intel core i5 4690k,
CPU Cooler- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 120mm,
Motherboard- Mod 1150 ASUS Z97-A ATX Motherboard,
Ram- Kingston HyperX Fury 1866MHz DDR3 2x 4GB,
Graphics- Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 970 G1 Gaming Edition Graphics Card,
Network interface card- TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter,
Hard drive- Seagate ST1000DX001 3.5 inch 1TB Hybrid Internal Solid State Drive,
SSD (For OS)- Kingston Technology 120GB Solid State Drive 2.5-inch V300 SATA 3,
Optical drive- Samsung 24x Retail SATA DVD Writer £11.70,
OS- Windows 7,
Monitor- BenQ DL2215 LED TN 21.5 -inch W 1080p Full HD LED Glossy Monitor (1920 x 1080, 5 ms, 600:1, VGA DVI-D

I believe it will but will all components work together and with the motherboard, and will it be good for gaming on current games and games in the next year or so with high-ish frame rates and high graphics settings? Would I be able to upgrade in a year or so if the games require more processing power etc and just get new components/case and use some of these components so the cost of upgrading would be only that of new parts rather than a whole new pc? Thanks

About the rest , it will run games at high settings for 1 or maybe 2 years 😉

Thankyou everyone. Will I need to get anything else? Such as cables or additional fans (the case comes with 2x12cm fans, one front and back, with place for multiple others) to make the PC work? Will there be any problem with heating is there is only two fans and a CPU Cooler?
