GTX 970 is running low fps on minecraft

Hey guys,
So my minecraft today seems to be very slow and is only running 30 fps, even though a week ago, it was running up to 500 fps. My graphics card is a gtx 970 and I check my minecraft also and it confirms it to be running with a gtx 970. My cpu temp is only at 20 degrees and I don't know what to do. I have all drivers updated and my cpu is an i5 4690k. The CPU and GPU are fine. I don't have v sync on and all my parts are up to date. PLEASE HELP.

Latest Nvidia drivers (358.50) are garbage and heaps of people are having issues with them. Nvidia should have called it a beta driver. I feel bad for all those who auto updated because Nvidia told them it was the right thing to do. Go back to using the 355.98 driver and see if that helps.

How do I roll back? The option is greyed out.

Download the driver you want from Nvidia's website.
choose the custom install option.
place a check mark in the do a clean install box, and install.
