Hi,

I recently bought a GTX 970 and installed it when I was still on Windows 8. Due to issues with the PC I used the refresh option and fixed my computer issues. My GTX 970 was still working at this point. After a couple of days I decided to try out Windows 10 so I upgraded. Once I upgraded it I didn't have problems for about a day and a half when suddenly I started having these "Kernel Crashes" happening. It started out as my monitor going black for two seconds and coming back on, but when I play games and it happens it will usually go black and automatically shutdown the computer after about 2 minutes, or it will come back but my game will have crashed. Also to mention, when I updated to Windows 10 I also updated the Nvidia Drivers.

I've tried looking online for solutions but I can't find any people that have had this problem recently, and every forum is from about 6 months ago...

Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it? Thanks.

Solution
Try clearing the CMOS battery of the board. If that doesn't work probably you might need a fresh windows install become some driver is causing a problem.
