I just bought a gigabyte g1 gaming gtx 970. In idle the gpu is quiet and barely able to hear it. After about 30 minutes into a game the fan really starts to rev up and get quiet noisy. I can even faintly hear it through my headphones. When i take my headphones off then I can really hear it. The temps and performance are fine. 35C on idle and about 65 while gaming. I know that theres a lot of head room for higher temps. Does anyone hear that owns a gigabyte 970 specifically (they have 3 fans instead of 2) or any 970 that has noise problems from it. It is put into cooler master haf full tower case too if that helps.
Edit: I've read a lot about coiling noises and that doesn't seem to be it. Also i came from a 650 ti boost pny that was really quiet so maybe its just that im not use to it yet or that's just a really quiet card. Also no overclocks on it yet as I might have to return it if the noise is bad
