Question Gtx 970 no signal

Hi, yesterday my pc was working just fine but today when i turned on the pc the monitor had no signal. I tried with different cables (hdmi and dp) and still didnt work. After that i changed to a different gpu and it worked. could my gpu be dead or what could be the problem? Thanks c:

Try your GTX 970 in different PC. If the symptoms are same (aka no image), your GPU is toast.

Though, you might get some life into GTX 970 when you uninstall GPU drivers with DDU and then force GPU to use Win built-in display driver. If you do get the image, then your GPU driver chip is toast. Meaning that you can not use your GPU at it's fullest, since installing GPU drivers would result in the same issue of no image. But if you don't get any image even with Win built-in display drivers, then your GPU is completely toast.
