Hey everyone, I’m having an issue with my GTX 970. Here’s my build:

GPU: GTX 970 ASUS STRIX DIRECTCUII OC

Motherboard: P35-DS3 Rev 2.1

CPU: Q9550 @ 3.67 GHz

RAM: 4 GB DDR2 (2x2 GB) G.SKILL F2-6400-CL5D

PSU: MSI MAG A650BN

I’ve overclocked the system, and it’s stable, but I’ve run into a strange problem. The drivers for the GTX 970 will not install on Windows 10 but will install perfectly fine on Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8.1.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

- Clearing the CMOS

- Reseating the GPU

- Cleaning the PCIe slots

- Reseating the RAM

- Updating GPU VBIOS

- Properly seating GPU PCI-E power

- Checking OC in IntelBurnTest, Prime95, checking GPU in Heaven, Furmark (all's stable)

None of these seem to fix the issue. I’ve also tried using the latest drivers for Windows 10, but they just won’t work—whether it’s via the installer or Device Manager. However, the drivers for other operating systems work fine.

Has anyone experienced this issue or have any ideas for a fix? It’s super frustrating because I really want to run Windows 10, but the drivers just won’t install. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

This all happened last night when I tried installing GPU drivers. I BSOD randomly, probably cuz Windows Update was installing the drivers, so I turn off that feature, uninstall drivers using DDU. Reinstalling Windows 10 then turning off all updates, reinstalling Chipset drivers, then the GPU drivers (led to a massive BSOD). Please someone help!

Thanks in advance!
