gtx 970 overclock issue

MSI GTX 970 Gaming oc +200 core +300 men.

So my issue is that the over lock is stable in Valley benchmark, GTA v, and Battlefield 4(ultra settings). However it crashes in WoW on a flightpath.

I know not all games are created equal when it comes to overclocking, but I would think it would crash in bf4 or GTA v well before WoW as its not a graphics extensive game.

120gb ssd
2tb hdd
Msi gtx 970 gaming
8gb evga ram
Evga 850w supernova psu

and look at what your actual clock speeds are at when gaming.

As for stability, your components need to pass all of your needs to be called stable. Perhaps WOW stresses your GPU slightly different to more demanding games.
Try decreasing a few clocks and see if it makes a difference. Perhaps you got a bad overclocker.
You can also increase the voltage to try to stabilise the GPU.
Just play around with your overclocking settings until you got what you want
