Gtx 970 sli configuration issues

Well right now my computer recognizes that I have two graphics cards in my computer. But it wont let me configure sli. I right click then i go to nvida control panel then I go to sli configuration and put in max 3d setting and then hit apply but then it say's please remove blocking program and it shows what programs are blocking but there are no blocking programs that are blocking.

Is this just nvida's 364.51 patch that is installed on my computer that is doing this? Or is it some thing that I don't know of? And remember i have two gtx 970's in my computer.

I am having trouble resolving those two contradictory statements. Are you saying that it says it's going to show you a list and then shows a window but no listing ?

Programs that block SLI run in two categories;

1. Those with which if it is on the computer, SLI will it run, period. Duet Display is one of these tho the vendor now says they have fixed it.

2. Those that just need to be turned off temporarily and after the switch is done you can turn them back on.

Hit the start button and type msconfig in the little window (assumes win 7). Go tot he statup tab and uncheck all the boxes.... reboot.

Enable SLI, then after its done, open msconfig again and recheck what you unchecked. reboot
