Hi all.

I am looking to enhance my graphics horsepower to be able to handle 4k games. Which setup should I use?

I have a Corsair HX850i PSU so power consumption isn't an issue.

SLI it. Less heat, better overall performance (unless it's a mantle application, but still), less power consumption, not as expensive as nVidia cards used to be, and less chance to have compatibility issues as AMD gpus have in quite some games and applications lately.

970s by a long shot. Less heat and noise, better card for card performance and better scaling. two 970s will maybe even perform better than two 290xs at 4K.
Quoted 1 time.

Hmm....funny how two different people can have the exact same cut and paste response.....
