Gtx 980 or 1070 ftw

So I have an 980 in my pc now. I have an option to buy a used 1070 ftw for 275 today is it worth the upgrade for the money

What CPU do you have now? (shows a FX 6300 in sig)

If you do have the FX 6300 it would be way more beneficial to upgrade to a Ryzen 2600/B450 MB & 16gb of DDR4 @3000/3200 for around $300.
