Hi guys,
So I started playing battlefield 4 yesterday and have seem to have had quite a large performance drop, playing at 1080p Ultra setting I used to be getting 140fps +, since yesterday I only seem to get around 75 - 80 fps and can not figure out what has triggered this drop in performance, I've checked resolution scaling, new drivers, v sync etc, no difference. Have done a Firestrike test and only scored 7870, please help me!
If its any help I'm using a 980 Ti Gaming 6G with an i7 4790k @ 4.6Ghz and 16GB DDR3 2400mhz RAM.
Thanks

if i were you i would start with msi afterburner in game monitor and see while i'am gaming if there are anything wrong, gpu clock not going all the way it have to be, so its throttling for some reason , gpu and cpu temperatures , memory clock showing the wrong value? , cpu pr gpu usage is too low. try it and see if there is anything not going well.

I just done another PC Restart and it done a windows update on startup, I ran firestrike again and scored 16,617, hopefully this was the problem or maybe something I had open previously, will monitor it for a while, see if theres any changes, thanks for all the suggestions in your reply, will keep them in mind if it is to happen again in the future!
