Hi guys, as usual I need your help and advice on upgrading my GPU.

Here's my current build:

Intel Core i5 4670k
Asus Z87 Pro
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB
MSI GeForce GTX 670 2GB PE
Corsair CS 750 Watt PSU
Asus MX279H 27 Inch 1080p IPS Monitor

So, the title says it all. With the new releases of COD Advanced Warfare, AC Unity and Far Cry 4 and also with future game release of GTA V and The Witcher 3, I'm thinking that's it's time for me to upgrade my GPU in order for me to really enjoy those games at close to or max settings.

After some reflection, I've narrowed my choice to either buying a single Gtx 980 or two Gtx 970 and that's where I need your help and advice because I can't decide which one to go for. Which one should I go for and why?

PS: I know 2 Gtx 970 might be overkill for a 1080p monitor but I'm thinking of buying a 27 Inch 2560X1440 monitor soon and have a 2 screen set up.

I do have a preference for Asus because well, Dat backplate though but while we are at it, should I go for Asus or EVGA?

ASUS Strix GTX 980 Vs 2 X ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 970 for SLI

or

EVGA GTX 980 Superclocked ACX 2.0 Vs 2 X EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 for SLI.

Finally do you guys know where I can check the prices of those GPUs in Hong Kong? because I have a friend going there for 1 week and I'm taking the opportunity for him to buy the GPU for me.

But the performance difference from the 970 to 980 is a somewhat rip off... Yes the 980 does add a option down the road, but still for the money you could go 3-way with the 970's...

3 Way? On a 2 slot mobo that maxes at dual 8x. The single 980 allows for adding a second down the road and is plenty powerful enough as a single to keep most happy for quite awhile...You go dual right off the bat (maxed) there is no option to upgrade other than a pair of higher rated (more expensive cards)
