Hi folks,

I have been experiencing frame stuttering issues across all of my games. I noticed that under load, the card can reach up to 86c which I suspect is causing the issue.

After doing some light research I have been trying to confirm that if the card reaches these temps - it down throttles in an attempt to cool itself. Just want to see if anybody else has been having this issue and if it is the culprit for the screen stuttering?

The only other thing I kind of suspect at the moment is my dual monitor setup, one being 144hz 1440p gsync, the other 1080p 60z.

Any help or similar experience appreciated!

Solution
Try this,
First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.

Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

Be sure you got a good airflow in your case, if not add aditional fans if possible. You can try a preliminary test and remove sidepanel, leave it removed and run your pc see if it hapens this with the sidepanel removed. If it does then you need to change the thermal paste on the gpu heatsink.
