Gtx 980ti sli watts minimum?

I have searched every where, and I know some threads answer this (sorta). But I really want to know if my 800 watt psu is enough to power two Msi 980ti's. I want to know if it's not enough. And if it would make the psu louder by pushing it too hard or something similar. My specs are Intel 17-5820k over clocked to 3.4 gigahertz (liquid cooled), and 1 gtx 980 ti (Msi). Please help

By decibel noise he means the kind of noise you hear with your ears. Noise can also refer to to unwanted fluctuations in an electrical signal. For example, the 12V rail from your PSU isn't actually a perfectly stable 12 V, but will be constantly varying by (hopefully) small amounts. Better PSUs will filter out more noise, resulting in a more stable voltage.

To be even more technical, it is ripple that is the fluctuations, and noise is the smaller spikes on the fluctuating voltage. Ripple is measured from crest to trough, but is not the same thing as noise. Noise would just be the little jagged anomalies along the sine wave. Sometimes it's easy to confuse the two or refer to ripple as noise. Not that it really matter much, either way we're talking about some sort of fluctuation. Ripple is the large fluctuation, noise are the tiny spikes and tiny fluctuations on the fluctuation.

I'm SO DAMN STUPID my psu isn't cooler master that's my other rigs psu. Sweet Jesus ok my current rigs psu is a Power Supply ATNG 800w 80+ Bronze Ultra Silent. I feel so stupid, I really hope that this psu can handle a stable 800w.

You will still want to upgrade that PSU, it has not had a professional review done on it, and I don't imagine it being very high quality. They design some poor units. And 980Ti SLI requires minimum 850W quality PSU as stated.

Considering you've probably spent close to $2000 on this this PC, what's another 100-150 for a quality PSU and the peace of mind that comes with it?
