Hello! I'd like to buy a 1080p 144hz monitor. I chose one (https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/22041800629) and it supports freesync premium. I have msi gtx 1650 gddr6 xs Oc. If i know correctly since 2019 the 1000 series with the latest drivers support freesync. And there are some requierements. (https://linustechtips.com/topic/1021857-g-sync-compatible-master-thread/ . I dont understand all of them unfortunately. Can my gtx 1650 run with freesync on this philips monitor? And if not what will happen? The monitor wont turn on or the experience wont be as good with freesync or gsync?
This philips monitor has 1 hdmi and 1 display port.
Thanks in advance.

It should, via DisplayPort only, yes. (I believe a later update enabled via HDMI on 16XX cards and above, but there are other variables - whether the monitor supports it, being one).

Connect up as normal, you may have to reinstall your GPU driver, and the option will be present in the Nvidia Control Panel.

As for the "if not", it's not as extreme as no display. There were issues early on with 'non-certified' panels, but that was more like screen flickering & the like. I don't know if later driver updates improved anything, but would assume they did.

So it should work with the display port? The monitor comes with: 1 x HDMI cable 1 x Psu cable(for power, im translating this) and 1 x DP-cable. The Dp cable stands for Display port? And on the gpu there are 3 ports: 1 blue with weird pattern, 1 hdmi and 1 more that i dont know the name of. I can post a picture if needed.

Yes, it should. DP = DisplayPort, yes.

DP is almost certainly the port on your GPU you can't identify. It looks like HDMI on one side, and a straight edge on the other.

Example, the middle of the three ports here:

Thanks, i got my monitor 2 days ago and with display port its works. There are no stutters or tearings. But one few yt videos i saw that after connecting with dp, in the nvidia settings they enable gsync, but for me that "set up g-sync" does not appear.

But this guy enabled freesync on his monitor, and on my monitor there are no such settings.

Edit* I just reset my monitor and the g sync tab popped up. I think it was because of changing mprt to on, btw i cant see any difference without gsync and with mprt on max there is no motion blur and its better for my eyes.
