no i didnt but im planning to open it to clean it and maybe also repaste it to prolong its condition and maybe improve the temps because i saw some dusts building up in the heatsink and fans, oh i also forgot to mention that it is a 2nd hand used graphics card. Right now ive tried to benchark it and the result temps are min 38c and max 74c.Can I ask have you already removed the thermal pads. You always do not have to replace them if there still good and if you get the wrong size you will be worse off.
I wish I could rattle of a correct size number but from card to card things are never perfectly the same.
Suggestion be gentle and don't damage pads but do the re-paste and cleaning and see how the card does.
If those are you temps LEAVE it alone. Get a can of compressed air and blow it out. If you blow it out blow it from the exhaust heat exit from the back of the card BACK into the card.Right now ive tried to benchark it and the result temps are min 38c and max 74c.
Ok ill look onto it. ThanksIf those are you temps LEAVE it alone. Get a can of compressed air and blow it out. If you blow it out blow it from the exhaust heat exit from the back of the card BACK into the card.
Reason the dust bunnies will loosen and you can reach in under the fan and remove them with a pair of tweezers.
Also don't let the fan spin up cleaning the card with compressed air.
I would try this first before you try to take it apart.
