gtx1080 pci connector got dmg

while installing my new 1080 it fell and hit the edge of the table and the slot connector got chip abit(see photos below) the metal pin connector wasnt dmg,just the plastic part was chip

i proceeded with installing it and booted my pc normally,1 week now and everything works fine so far lol
The gpu get detected properly and i can run all my games fine,doesnt overheat,temps seem normal,havent tried overclock yet

am afraid that the dmg connector might cause problem in the future like gpu get burn or even dmg my motherboard ?
