GTX670 SLI Memory question

Hi All,

I was having conversation with someone the other day and I said I had two GTX 670 cards each with 2GB of onboard memory in SLI. Thus equaling 4GB of video memory at my disposal, the guy then said no you only have 2GB of video memory?!?

He kept banging on about frame buffers size limiting it to 2GB?

I have been around PC hardware for a fairly long time and cannot understand this logic, is this true?

Yes it is true they still only provide a frame buffer of 2GB.
