I can tell the difference between lag on monitors but it's never been an issue after I've warmed up and to be frank your average high-speed internet connection is where the majority of your game lag will come from. As long as the monitor isn't complete $#!t and has low input lag (any decent IPS monitor out in the last year worth buying is at <1ms input lag with total display lag between 9-17ms) you should be good to go.

Damn you guys, Here I was perfectly happy with my old monitor, I feel so foolish having neglected this for so long!

So this breadcrumb trail has led me on the hunt for a decent 120hz monitor, after reading all the reviews they say that it does make a huge difference, I tend to be quite sensitive to frame drop more then I am anything like colour accuracy.

I have been looking at this monitor from my supplier:

£240 true 120hz (up to 144 apparently) I have read some reviews that state it is of reasonable quality.

I'm prepared to jump up to £300 for a decent monitor @ 120hz, this of course means definately going SLI so I can push all those extra frames out.

All in thats bringing up the basket cost to about what a titan costs, cost saving and cooler kit! Whoo!

Oh and I found my SLI bridge, it's a triple one but that's OK 😀

Thanks again for everyone who helped, without you guys I could have wasted a lot of money, and missed out on some sweet new kit!

thanks again
