GTX780 6GB power supply

Hello everyone

my current PSU is a GS700 . do you think that it will do or should i get a better PSU like a RM1000?

A 600 is plenty, I've run both of mine in SLI with a 800 (no real extra headroom), would want a850 is SLIing two of them and OCing...But for single 780 and your rig 600 w/ 42 AMPs on the 12 is plenty and leaves headroom

i'll have to ask him on that . but I think that it's better for me to take something like an EVGA psu than a 1 , 2 or 3 year used power supply dont you think ?

What you have is plenty, I've had one of my 780's in my 3570K (4.7) and OCed the 780 up over 20% with a 600 PSU, so your current one is fine

Just to let everyone know , i do know that my psu is good but i do not want to run it to its max capabilities , i would always like some headroom which i can get by buying a 850w psu but it doest seem smart to buy a psu thats only higher by 150w from my current one so i said why not buy a 1000w psu if i want to upgrade my rig in the future

maybe not in the near future . i guess this means that its better to stick with my GS700 and when i plan to get a second 780 (maybe in a year) i should upgrade the psu then ??
