GTX780Ti which one would be better?

I personally prefer Gigabyte however it is really up to you. PNY is a company that I haven't heard good things about, MSI is always a good choice, EVGA is also good, and Gigabyte has the best cooler in my opinion.

is it a good idea to go with 2x gtx770 4gb?

Waste of money. Just go with the 680 ti and if pricing is a issue wait a bit and the price should drop.

I would think that the Gigabyte Windforce version with 3 fans is the best one to get. Between the other two, the MSI is probably the better deal as it is the cheapest. I don't see a reason why the EVGA ACX is the most expensive. If you want the cheapest possible regardless of design, this reference PNY is only $680 + free shipping from B&H http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1013739-REG/pny_technologies_vcggtx780t3xpb_geforce_gtx_780_ti.html they have about as good a reputation as an online retailer can have if you haven't heard of them. They do not, however, have any non-reference 780tis. If you don't plan on a crazy high overclock, the reference model should last as long as any NR card and stay just as quiet under normal use.

I couldn't agree more; Gigabyte are probably the best for cooling with their 'Windforce' system.

I would reccommend the Gigabyte one.
I really like that cooler, I believe it's really effective, but the main reason is that it has 2 x 8-pin connector, which would allow you to give it more power for overclocking.
The PNY one also has 8 pins, but not as famous, so I wouldn't pick that one...

Yes because its cooler is better meaning that it can run at higher settings.

Its good no doubt, only that msi's run cool when oc'd due to the afterburner driver tweaks.
