Hey everyone. Trying to decide if I should upgrade my system or buy a new one, hope you can help us out?
Specs:
Gigabyte 2gb 7870 PCI-E
Corsair Carbide 300R Tower Case
ASUS P8Z77-V (intel Z77)
G.Skill Ripjaws-X 8GB (4Gx2) DDR3 1600
Intel i5-3570 3.4⁄3.8Ghz LGA1155 IVY Bridge
Intel SSD-330 120GB SATA3 SSD
WD 3.5" Green 2TB WD20EARX SATA3 HDD
LG Blu-Rray Combo - SATA
ThermalTake Tough Power 775 Watt PSU.
My new system would be:
CPU: i5-4960 ($299)
MOBO: Asus Z97-A
RAM: 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600mhz ($109)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 4gb ($489)
SSD: SanDisk Ultra II 120gb ($89)
HDD: WD Green 3TB 3.5” ($135)
PSU: Thermaltake TX 750 ($155)
Case: Thermaltake Urban R21 ($80)
This would let me add a GTX970 later if I wanted 2 do some 4k gaming.
What you guys think?
Thanks in advance.
