[citation][nom]amnotanoobie[/nom]Now this is the proper way to market a game!Way way way better than brass knuckles, committing acts of lust, or faking a shooting.[/citation]
dont know..the shooting got a bit of coverage, and will cost them less

I would have given my church that amount too. It's 10%. There is no paid ministry at my church, the only people who get paid are service people that clean the building, repair electric or carpeting, etc. The money people give is used to pay for utilities, and to help people that are going through hard times by enrolling them in our welfare program, and for giving 0% interest loans to students who could not even afford to attend community colleges (which every student has paid back plus more). Just giving my EXPERIENCE that not all religious organizations are bad. If you think some place did you wrong, you have no obligation to continue attending.

this is a lottery i would actually play!!!

video game titles might actually do better in initial sales if they offer incentives like this to players that are the first to reach certain goals... and maybe release new goals as the game becomes older

while maybe a million dollars is a bit steep... it isnt too far fetched to see prizes in the 10,000 range...

eh?

I wonder if they accept making team trades first? Someone could rig the opposing team with a terrible hitting lineup. They could even fill the team with custom players with absolutely no hitting ability.

It just seems too unlikely one could pitch a perfect game on the 6th try without some sort messing with the teams. After all, theres not alot raw skilled involved in making great pitches. Seems to be just the luck of the draw, and the pre-programmed odds and statistics VS the throw you choose, that leads to a strike.

Meh maybe he should try out for the Mariners... Hmmm the odds, well there are what 6 billion people in this world, so 1/6,000,000,000 prolly beats the odds the 2K Games were hoping for lol.

After seeing that the Mariners had at least 4 plays worthy of SportsCenter's "Not Top 10" this morning, I'll bet his chances of making the team are pretty good.

Hope this guy puts away a good chunk of that for the tax hit he's going to take next year. Donating $100k of it to the church will help him out, but he's going to get slammed hard on that. Hope they don't blow it all before he has a chance to give the fed its cut.

It's nice to see they owned up to the $1M that they offered. I'm sure they are getting $1M worth of free advertising out of it anyways. It's nice to see that money going to some average Joe instead of a TV network.

And Mom and Dad playing a video game wouldn't get you anywhere. I would like to know how many total hours he put into play the game and then divide that by a cool mill. to come up with an hourly wage.

Maybe they actually changed their minds, deciding to cancel the contest and are just pretending someone won it already. Perfect way to cancel without fallout.

its possible but he said also that someone has to come to his house to make sure his console is not modded or anything. something like this may be in the same sense

Hey JMcEntegart how come did you delete my post? Just because you did'nt agree with what I said? All I said was that I wouldnt donate it to the church.. because they are paying out a lot of settlements lately. And then you have to insert an anonymnous post to defend your point of view? Are you serious?

So you tell me, where did my post go?

Not that I care that much about what I said but censoring others peoples point of view is just wrong, especially for a news site.

What leads you to believe that JMcEntegart deleted your post?

People will usually pin such blame on the article poster, and it's not a wholly unreasonable assumption to make most of the time.

Does the facility exist to inform the user of who has deleted it along with the reason?
