Guys Computer Not working! Please help!!

OK so I opened my Asus q200e windows 8 touchscreen laptop and it was fine. Then it did a random reboot and I thought it was kind of. I clicked on my desktop icon and a bunch of messages popped up and said the file directory could not be found and all my taskbar icons are gone and all the stuff on my desktop besides my recycle bin was there. I clicked went to all my apps and clicked on Google chrome and it took me back to my desktop and said file directory could not be found. Please help!!!! I am so sad. I download sort of a lot off stuff but I don't think its a virus. Is it my hard drive?!?! Help....

Click on settings in windows 8 and use system restore, you should have a system restore point from the day before.
