guys i messed up really bad with my cooler

GUYSSS i built my first gaming pc and i used a coolermaster ml240r right, i put the thermal paste on and stuff but i forgot to take the plastic off the cooler heat thingy and now its on the cpu, ive been running the pc for like a day now temps are at 56 degrees right now and im not really doing anything, what do i do? just leave it or take the plastic out? im really nervous

Take the cooler off, remove all the thermal paste using isopropyl alcohol and lint free cloth (coffee filter), and remove the plastic.
Reapply thermal paste, remount cooler.

Nothing should be damaged, but you need to remove it.

can i just use 91% isopropyl alcohol and a tissue paper? or does it have to be a coffee filter?

91% is good, the issue with tissue paper, paper towels, etc is they leave lint behind. Coffee filters by nature do not.
You can get by with them in a pinch if you have nothing else on hand.

okay just finished and everything went well, my idle temps went from 48 degrees to 27 YAAAAY, also thanks for the help <3
