So I have been dealing with my CPU overheating for a few months and haven't been able to find any solution. I can't count how many times I have reapplied thermal paste. So recently though I have isolated the issue to my liquid cooler. Originally I accidently bumped the tubes and my temps went down then slowly back up. So I tapped them again harder and my temps went down and stayed down. Until I turned my computer off then same problem. So today I went and while it was runnig I jiggled the radiator and bumped the tubes a few times and everything seems to be OK even after turning it off. Thanks for reading that and my question is, is it likely to be an air bubble and since I don't think it would have anywhere to go is this going to turn into an ongoing issue? or what could it have been? Thanks again for reading that text wall and have a great day.

Ok I wasn't sure. Do you know how good their RMA process is by chance like if it's quick or anything.

I used their RMA process once for a PSU and it was surprisingly fast.
There are two ways to do it, one way they wait to get your product before sending out a new one (takes 1-2 weeks total Id say), or I believe you can pay (essentially put up collateral) and have it shipped right away .

From the website:
Typical Processing Times:
1 to 2 business days for your replacement to be processed or for a credit to be applied to your account.
3 to 5 business days for your replacement to be shipped and delivered.
14 business days for a check to be mailed to you.

Corsair can confirm this for you.

RMA the h100i. Corsairs customer support number is 1 (888) 222-4346. They are very friendly and should be able to switch it out for you as the h100i's come with warranties I believe. It could be that the liquid isnt moving through the AIO due to a broken pump or some sort of blockage either way RMA it.

Air bubble or physical debris. Possibly icky bacterial growth...

I hate sending in an intermittent problem, just make sure to describe in detail the problem. Might be a good time to test the Swedish Fish theory. (Been meaning to do that, but I've had nothing that needs a return lately)

Ok thanks I will talk with Corsair and see if I can get an RMA for it. I hope they will still do it I threw my boxes away in october thinking that since I didn't have any issues I wouldn't. Oh how wrong that was.

Ok thanks, What is the Swedish Fish theory?

Huh, never thought about that. I'll have to try it if I can get Corsair to RMA it.
