Hi guys!

I'm gonna get a used H370 motherboard, GIGABYTE H370 AORUS GAMING 3 WIFI.
I wonder if i pair it with a i7-9700K or 9700KF, will it boost to 4,9Ghz single-core?
Originally i planned a 9700 non-K version, but it is almost the same price as the 9700KF, and that extra boost clock would be good sometimes.
The motherboard will be updated to latest BIOS of course, and i know, with the H370 i can not overclock the CPU, but i don't want to, so it is enough for me.

Thank you for any answers!

Solution
Yes the CPU will boost to the turbo speed when needed, it also depends on the app/game and also cooling. Also the 4.9ghz is the single core boost speed, when multiple cores boost they will be a slightly lower so for example if it's 3-4 cores it may only boost to around 4.6ghz.

You'd be limited to whatever settings were implemented in the BIOS, which may very well be only 3.6 GHz all-core clock speeds...

At least the Z390 boards have flexibility to at least run the CPU as intended, and not be faced with 30 second peak power limits, so can sustain all-core turbos at 4.6 GHz... (or above for "K"-series CPUs)
