[SOLVED] H370 motherboard for an i9 9900k?

Hi guys!

Should I put a 9900KF cpu to a H370 motherboard? Now there is a basic 8700 in it with a gtx1080 which I also would like to exchange sooner or later to an rtx3070.
Or should I buy a new board for the 9900kf, like z370-390. I don't want to overclock.

The VRM of the H370 Plus is likely to throttle a 9900kf under full load.

I would consider a Z390 model with a very good VRM. You have to be careful though, because many Z390s even have rather poor VRMs.
