It's not that it's bad it's just not as good as other cases. The H440 sacrifices optimal airflow for sleek design. If you want to use a 240mm+ rad i would advise against the h440. You may want to consider the Corsair 450D. Alternatively you may want to look at the Noctis 450 which is basically an H440 with a better pwm fan controller as opposed to just a splitter on the H440 and covers which I think offer better airflow. I picked up an H440 before the 450 came out and I would have chosen the noctis if it had been available at the time. So either way definitely not the H440 (unless the design of the H440 is the deciding factor)
Sorry but just to be clear, are you saying that I should not get the H440?
(I will be using air cooling with the stock fans that it comes with)
If you don't care about the design, don't get the H440. The N450 improves upon the H440 and is essentially an improved version making the H440 obsolete. If you're not willing to spend the little extra on the N450 the Corsair 450D is a better and slightly cheaper option for airflow. Whichever you pick the performance of your system will likely be identical albeit the H440 running a few degrees warmer.
Thanks for responding! I have picked this case out also, the NZXT Phantom 410, do you know how the air cooling is in the case? I liked the design of the H440, but not so much that I would negate the temp.
