Hi all,
Simple question really. I'm re-casing an old system we use as a media station and cooling has become an issue. I managed to get myself a H55 for £35 so thought why not. Got a nice cheap Aerocool Aero 800 case to put it in as they are budget and the airflow is meant to be pretty good. It has one 120mm intake at the front (room for another) and one 120mm Exhaust at the back. There is also room for 2 120mm or 2 140mm fan on the top of the case.
My question is this. The plan is to have the front fan as an intake and mount the 120mm rad in the place of the rear 120mm stock fan and have it on exhaust. Then put the stock fan in one of the top positions as an additional exhaust. The system currently gets quite hot and I wondered if this seem the most efficient way of keeping it cool?
Regards
Chris
