Hi I need a cpu cooler because I want to overclock my cpu to 5hz but I dont know which to go with.
I have two ideas for the cooler one is a Corsair H60 and the other is a upHere liquid cooler.

UpHere cooler (240mm and white led)-https://www.amazon.com/upHere-Technology-Performance-water-Adjustable/dp/B0757KZ6JW

Corsair h60- https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CW-9060007-WW-Performance-Liquid-Cooler/dp/B00A0HZMGA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1523676476&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+h60

Which should I go with??

I'm using a kraken x61 on a i7-3770k. In Prime95 v26.6 small fft it hits 74°C at 4.9GHz 1.302v silent mode . A kraken x52 is a 240mm cooler, so expect slightly higher temps, maybe 76-77°C on a similar setup. The kraken x62 will be roughly the same, maybe 1-2°cooler due to better fans.

What you haven't said is your cpu. I7-8700k 5GHz shouldn't be an issue, probably see similar temps too, but pre-coffeelake is a little more iffy, kabylake i7-7700k will be a mess at 5.0, skylake would be better. Haswell, good luck with that, you'll hit voltage caps quick.

Neither. The upHere is basically a Chinese knockoff that's only found in Amazon or eBay, I'd not trust it with a stick. The h60 gets almost identical performance to the hyper212 evo, for 3x the price.

Neither one will touch 5.0GHz and survive. For those speeds and the power/heat absorption necessary, you'll need a minimum of a very good air cooler such as the Cryorig H5 or Scythe Fuma or a very good 240mm AIO, preferably a 280mm.

For either of your choices, expect closer to 4.3-4.4GHz on a i5 or Ryzen 3, less on an i7 or Ryzen 5.

You also make the assumption 5.0GHz is easy. Considering your cooler choices show your lack of knowledge about OC and its requirements, I'd suggest (very strongly) you start reading all you can on the subject, especially where it concerns your motherboard and cpu and coolers. Once you think you have a handle on things, read some more. And more. Do not touch your bios until you are certain you have a clue what you are doing, and how to do it.

The time spent reading, watching, learning is far cheaper than replacing a mobo or cpu when you brick it or roast it.

What about a h80i v2 or is the cryorig and scythe still better
