Hello! My name is Dawson I need help. I am pre building my pc and I am using old parts from my old pc (Alienware R6) including my H60 liquid cooler. The H60 comes with two different back plates but I lost them because you don’t need to install it with the Alienware because it comes built with one. I took apart my Alienware last night and pulled the back plate off and I was wondering if I could just use this back plate instead of the one that comes with the H60. The reason I’m asking this is because I don’t want to wait till July 8th to get this back plate. Mainly I am asking is would it be okay if I used this Alienware back plate on a new mobo if it already fits with the H60. A YouTuber creator said I should be fine.

As long as it fits and doesn't touch any pins or components on the back of the board, sure. All it does is give you an anchor point.
