Ram Model : HX318C10FWK2/16 / HX318C10FWK2/16 - Hyperx Fury Ram [16GB]
Motherboard: H81M Plus
CPU: I7-4790K @4.00Ghz 1150
144 Hz & 60 Hz monitors
GPU: 1060 6GB Nvidia

When building fast, I am getting fps drops down to 60 or less
When typing on facebook/twitch/etc the typing is delayed or laggy/overall generally a laggy experience on anything.

I have tried using just one monitor etc and the issue still there so its not the monitors.
GPU is new and so is the ram.

Any ideas on what i can do and if the ram is compatible with this board? the ram runs but isnt the ram overclocked by default does the bios over-ride this?

I have set in the bios 1600 mhz as its the maximum the board can run, but this used to be on auto.

Please help as i am running out of ideas. I have reinstalled drivers, reformatted, everything.
I have no other ram to test.

Make sure your motherboard is on the latest BIOS update. Then go into BIOS and see if the ram is set to DDR3-1600MHz(by default) and that the voltage for your rams(kit) is at 1.65v.

Are you on Windows 10? What is the make and model of your PSU and how old is it?
