My comp has been hacked by my brother and I tried to fix the registry by blocking his access. Well, my comp won't do a damn thing now. Nada. If I obtained a windows 7 boot disk, would that fix it? I'm looking to wipe the whole computer out and start anew. How do I do that? And can NSA agents permanently scar my computer so this is undo able?

He gets copies of all that I do. I went to bash his windows with a baseball bat and they won't break. Installing Windows is not 'programming'. I can teach any random 10 year old to do it in about 5 minutes.

Just for a moment I'm going to take you seriously:

If he's planted speakers or something, they need some form of power source and are noticeably large. Trip the main power switch in your circuit board. If that fixes it, close one breaker at a time. The one they start on is where you look. Cable trace till you find something. If it's in an appliance, open it up and look for modifications - shoddy soldering, stuff that's hanging (not on the PCB), that kind of thing. Reflash the firmware if there's nothing physical in there.

If they took your kids, you should have been in court at some point. They don't usually just take anyone's word for it.

Move cities (or, if you have multiple citizenships, countries).

Of course, this sounds more like schizophrenia. He's kind of mean to have played with you like that.

IQ is generally taken as largely problem solving. Installing windows seems to be a classic example of this.
