Question Had an issue with my PC. I think it's the mobo, BIOS, or something else. Advice on a mobo that is known to have nearly no issues?

The board is the Asrock b450 steel legend. Gpu is a 3080. CPU is a Ryzen 3600. Ram is 2 sticks of G.Skill Trident 8gb.

The issue was that I could only boot the PC with one stick of ram(either stick) in any ram slot. Alternatively, I could boot it if it was in the first 2 slots. But, I could not boot it in slot 2 and 4, or 1 and 3. I think it's a Mobo and BIOS issue. But, I don't know.

Are the MSI or Gigabyte boards known to be better designed, have better BIOS, and better manufactured than Asrock? Also, is the PC less likely to encounter issues if I buy parts that MSI tend to bundle the products with, like Corsair memory sticks and a MSI GPU installed into a MSI boards?
