I want to add a closed loop water cooling solution to my HAF 912 case, particularly an H100i.

From what I understand from research:
A. Push(intake air from outside to inside case) yields roughly the same cooling performance as Pull(air from inside to outside case).

B. The advantage of Pull is that the rad does not get clogged with dust as much nor as easily as Push

relevant PC Specs:

Asus M5A99FX Mobo
FX-6300
HAF 912 case
Radeon 7850

I have a few questions:

1. Will the radiator and fans fit inside the case without case modding?
1a. If not, will any cooling performance be lost by mounting the fans on the outside of the case with the radiator inside?

2. In both scenarios, 1 and 1a, will there still be room for a rear exhaust fan?

3. If an H100i just is not practical at all in either 1 or 1a, is there another quality closed loop solution with similar performance that will fit?

4. In your opinion, would I be better off with an advanced aftermarket CPU cooler?

side note: $100(without tax) is my absolute budget for any cpu cooling solution.

Solution

Ok, well, if you get the h100im consider getting some Noctua industrial fans eventually. you would really like them.

So I would just get the h100i. If the H105 can fit in your case, get that instead. It doesperform better.
You will have to measure the space. But, I will say this. Do not get the H100i. Get the Swiftech H220. It is made by a custom loop company that uses high quality parts and fluid. It gives much better temps than the h100i and has much quieter fans. You can get it from NCIXUS.com

The Swiftech H220 just got a price raise on NCIX. Sorry, I just noticed. But, anyways, I will say that the fans are quite loud on the h100i. I am just gonna give you a heads up on that,.

I am no stranger to noisy fans, I have 3 2000 rpm fansand some 1500 rpm fans as well. I just want performance.
