Question Half life alyx on the steam deck and VR headset

i just need to experience the game in a playable fashion. Steam deck's configuration seems all right. Can it be hooked up with a vr set and be used for the same? What would be the cheapest headset/ method to play this?

No doubt there is some hacker working on this exact thing. It would be a natural progression if the Deck could hold up the CPU/GPU processing power needed. Nut in another gen or two, it might be a real option.
