Halo Demo: System Requirements message

When I run the Halo demo on my laptop the system
requirements message appears and tells me that my pc runs
at 533Mhz which doesn't meet the minimum requirements.
But my pc runs at approximately 1.9Ghz and when I click
continue it runs at adequate speeds. Anyone know why that
message appears?

it is a well known glitch in the demo but will not show up
in the full version
