I'm the same type of gamer Twitch. I don't think I have ADD, but maybe I do when it comes to games. I like killing things and running around. I HATE sneaking around. Booring! I'm sure Splinter Cell is a wonderful game. I played the demo and just couldn't get into it. And don't get me started on Hitman 2. That game is so unbelievably sweet looking, even for today's standards, but way too much stealth involved. That's why I respect the Metal Gear series so much. Because even though there is quite a bit of stealth, they still pull it off without boring the f out of you.

From what you described about Chrome it doesn't sound all that bad. But should it be getting the hype I think it's getting?

Doom who? Half-Life 2 completely and utterly blew Doom 3 out of the water at E3. Suddenly D3's graphics are looking more standard than revolutionary. But I'm sure it will still be badass.

I envision myself goofing off most of the time with the environments in HL2. Along with the graphics, that is what intrigues me the most.

I don't know the answer to that one. I might say I think it sucks and then have everyone on the forum telling me what a moron I am because it's the best thing since "Pong." I know one thing for sure. It doesn't make the game particularly fun when it does not recognize the mousewheel and all the buttons. And like I said, the demo has all the weaker weapons and grenades.

The graphics are good. Maybe I just need to get used to them. I thought they were ugly but they're starting to grow on me. Lots and lots of vegetation in the Chrome world. More fully modelled plants than any game I've ever seen. And the cut-scenes are pretty nice, but the voice-acting makes me wish I was deaf. Story seems vaguely familiar, but I can't pin it on another game.

It's like everything is high-tech and professionally done, but it has nothing really impressive.

I dunno. Me shut up now.
