Solution Howardohyea Dec 30, 2022 QSV on 12th gen doesn't have any AV1 encoding, only decode. Only Arc, RTX 40 and Radeon 7000 series support hardware accelerated encoding. You can check out Wikipedia's table of Intel QSV support, and as you can see, Alder Lake doesn't have AV1 encode.
