Impossible to say for any individual drive.
All you can do it look at trends.

WD fails, Seagate fails, Toshiba fails...they ALL fail eventually.

The only protection you can have is a good backup routine. Do that.

they all have a fail point no matter witch brand it is for myself i use wd black for gaming with 5 years warranty .
