Hard Disk help

I have installed a second mechanical hard drive to accompany my solid state drive however I can't view it in the my computer window (running windows 7). Please help?

Right on computer icon
Manage
Disk management
Allocate the free space (aka your new hard drive) to the system

If it comes up in the Bios but you can't access it
Go to Control Panel the go to Computer Management
then when its all loaded click on Storage then Disc Manangement
then right click on black bar (if it says unallocated) then i believe it's "mark partition as active)
