Hi all

Recently I purchased a new Hard disk(SEAGATE 500GB) and connected to my Lenovo Laptop(model G470). BIOS is detecting it but not by Windows. how can this be possible?

I replaced my laptop hard disk with new to install OS in it. I verified the priority of BOOT order when I tried to install new OS I am getting no bootable device found, check the cable connection Error.

Can any please help me to resolve this issue.

Sounds to me like you haven't configured your laptop to boot from USB device - - - - it's trying to boot from the new and empty hard drive, hence the error message.

I changed BIOS settings to boot from Pendrive.

what I mean is I changed my hard disk and verified in BIOS whether the new disk is detected or not and made USB as a priority to boot...

Are you sure the pen drive has been prepared properly with official Microsoft media creation tool as per this tutorial?:
