HArd disk reset failed

when i turn on the system it says port 1 :hard disk ,port reset failed.
can anyone help me out in solving this issue

I'd recommend that you try switching your hard drive to another SATA port and use a different SATA cable to see if the same thing happens. There might be an issue with the port or cable. If that doesn't work, I'd recommend that you try the drive with a different computer to see if it's recognized properly and if it is, backup your important data just in case and then test your HDD with the manufacturer's diagnostic tool.
