Hello
Ive had 2 hdd with important data whice i didnt backup for 10 years.
One hdd is almost full of capacity .
The other has 123 gb free space
Since i got so many data on it,i cant know what was lost ,missing
My question is .
If i use disk check for bad sectors ,can i tell if any file got missing?
If its find no corruptions/bad sectors.
Does this means i havent lost any files?

And when i press properties to check disk space .
Can i safely trust its showing me the right bits and data on the external hdd?
Thank you

Question from kidmid99 : "Found out some data were.lost"

Hello im gonna do check disk.but it will prbably will be cleab of bad sectors.etc.

Some on my files were passed and were there on the hdd
While.i checked.properties.its showed.me.exact files after moving from my memory card.
After few days. I found some.files were randomly missing
I had 10,000 photos and i found some are randomly missing.
On the hdd i had 15 gb less suddently.
Is this physical problem?
No virus maleware were on my pc
Especially since i paranoid and watch what i do and scan reguarly.
So?
It xan be virus yes.but rarely the case.
Physical problem?ill update after diak check.
Any.others reasons?
The data disspeaerd from all over the folder that eas filled with photos of 4 monthes
I moved each few days from.my.memmory cars to comp.
So thw writint process was taking many times.
