Hard drive is very slow after lightning strike

A month ago my pc struck by lightning and was dead.Now i got it repaired.Replaced the motherboard with a gigabyte GA h61MS(Previous one was DL H61MXEl).Replaced the psu.Also i managed to get a hard drive(2TB).Now my pc has two hard drives(2TB+500GB).When i installed windows 10(In the 2TB HDD) installation was taking too long.PC was working very slow after installation of windows,and it would take about 7-8 minutes to boot too.When i disconnected the old 500GB hard drive pc was working normally and boot time was improved.So problem only presists when i connect the 500GB internal HDD.Also the old 500GB hdd had 3 partitions out of which only one is accesible now.One partition has windows installed on it too,and is also not accesible.I have important data in the 500GB HDD.Can i retrieve data from 500GB HDD or can i get it repaired????

Your HD is dead by the way, maybe not all the way yet, but it won't last much longer, it will die completely very soon. It's really a paper weight now for the most part. You can forget about repairing the HD.

Depends on how valuable the information really is to you money wise.

Data recovery services can be very expensive, talking about real money here.

After a lightning strike it's best to replace everything.... Whole new machine.

I went through that years ago and had to replace every electric device in the house including 3 PC's
