My hard drive uses show always 100%, whenever I work or not work.
Every time I chk my hard disk uses through task manager it shows 100%.
I format my PC twice but the problem still exists, I don't know what to do is this is hard ware issue or something else.
Kindly reply me back.

Laptop model- Lenovo IdeaPad 320

Wd HDD 1TB
8 gh ram
Window 10 pro

Solution
Reinstall wont help in any way. It will just start new round for windows services to cause excessive disk activity.

Defragmentation might help a bit. But not too much.
Probably
  • Windows updates or
    Disk Defragmenter or
    Search Indexing or
    Windows Defender
running.

This normally happens on win10 installed on a mechanical HDD. Only effective way to get rid of this problem is upgrading to SSD.
Or be very patient and wait until process causing 100% disk activity finishes.

my system stuck most of the time when I work on 200mb+ file size either in Photoshop or Illustrator.
yesterday my system stuck for almost 40 min just for saving the file of photoshop, It's like a big headache at work.
I don't know what happens always disk 100% full either I am working something or just listening to music.

That is Task Manager (not Resource Monitor).

Resource Monitor looks like this. Just don't forget about ordering by column Total, otherwise you can't see process causing most disk activity.

then why it shows 100% usage most of the time... especially on Photoshop & Illustrator work (when size become 200 mb plus.
my laptop completely stuck, when I switch Photoshop to Illustrator it takes times & 10/10 times it shows not responding few seconds then switch to other software. I think there is some HDD error because in my office only my laptop show 100% disk usages when I start my pc & in working time its big big headache with big size files.

Then get me correct screenshot (with proper ordering by column Total), when there's 100% disk usage.

If I had to guess, then probably there's not enough ram in your system. 7 tabs of Firefox + 10 tabs of Chrome + Photoshop + Illustrator are eating it all up. System starts "trashing" -swapping data from memory to disk and back. And your system becomes barely usable.

I don't think so its ram issue because in my company every designer has 8gb ram, & one more thing I m telling from your last message to till this time one photoshop file is opening (which takes almost 8-10 min), the file size is only 243 mb
I m sharing the screenshot after the file opened because when the file is opening my system is completely hung.

this issue start with last 1 month before that nothing happens....I use Mozilla chrome Illustrator & photoshop together.

Only 1st of those 8 stacked screenshots was needed.

You can see Firefox causing most of disk usage (could be some firefox plugin gone crazy).
System is running out of ram and Photoshop is using pagefile excessively.
Not sure, what is Caso piccosa\PSD\Aug_2018\A-CP_30_8_.. is.

So - close Firefox and add more ram.

are u sure bro ram issue because all of my office colleagues have same 8 GB ram, So there are no HDD issues because of none of any employees HDD goes 100% instantly?
& only a browser I have extra rest other uses chrome browsers. I discuss some of the technicians & they suggest that there is some issue be HDD because without any work ur HDD become 100% at starting the laptop....this is not good. ur HDD instantly become 100% usage
