How can I change hard drive assigned letters? My second drive has letter "H"
assigned to it insted of "D"n Nothing else is assigned to "D"

Try using the Disk Management program. It can be found in the Control Panel
> Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management. Right-click
the second hard drive and select "Change drive letters and paths...".
Select "H" from the list and click "Change". You can also see all of your
drives, hide drives (I do this with my unused drives from my multi-card
reader), and change drive letters for CD-ROMs, etc.

A possible reason for the H: is when you Installed the
drive you did have more drives attached at that time
unless you chose a letter at the time of adding new drives
It starts with c and if you have a cd rom it will be d if
you do not have a cd rom at the time of creating second hd
that drive will become d and if yuu want to remove and and
drives often they can change lettersand get confused so I
name the external drives X:= external, U:=usb, W:= A
second drive with windows Ect. because automaticly they
start at the beginning of the ABC,S. The important thing
is to "MAP" the drive to make all the others understand
which drive is which. If the letters change
involentaralty, map the drives...ALOHA!
